Cannot Edit text

Hi all, i am a new user to Contirbute 4.0 i do connect fine to the website and
i click on the edit page in order to edit but i cannot edit the text. i did the
tutorial and i breezed through them really easy but for some reason when i try
to work on our website contribut does not allow me to edit the text, any
suggestions?

By the sounds of it you don't have any editable regions set. Does the cursor
change to the circle with a line through it? Do you have any blue boxes
(indicating an editable region) on your page? Do you possibly have hidden
layers or divs which may effect the accessability of getting to the areas
you want to edit? Are you using Server Side Includes?

I am having a similar problem I am using an h2 tag with a background image
attached in the style sheet could this be confusing contribute? What other
reason is there that I couldn't edit the text in the h2 tag?

Have you tried to temporarily adjust your css to test this??\
