Cannot Insert Flash Video in DW8

When using the Insert Flash video in DW 8 it insists on refusing to do it -
"The URL cannot contain spaces or special characters" etc. so what am I doing
wrong - obviously it doesn't have these in the name of the file which is the
only thing I am refering to. ? ??

When checking the extension manager, it says that the flash extension is not
valid for Dreamweaver 8. I presume that it should be removed, but is there
another extension available or is it built in the new version?

Gazzen,

I'm a relative noob with DW but if the file name is ok, are you using the
point and shoot thingy to point to your .flv file in your site folder (files)?
This will at least eliminate the chance of a mistype in the link field. Also
rename the flv to be something like a.flv. DW can't tell you off for using
spaces or whatever if you do that. (Just to nail it down some more).
This is the DW extensions forum section. You might get a better and larger
response in the general DW area maybe.
