Cannot install Dreamweaver Extension?
I've recently upgraded to OS X 10.4 and reinstalled my DMX 2004. It's been a
little buggy, but fine overall. (I did upgrade to 7.0.1) Yesterday, I tried to
install an extension, the WebPhotoAlbum226.mxp, and I kept getting the message:
"This extension requires the following products: Dreamweaver MX or greater",
and the installer refused to install the extension. I downloaded another
extension and tried to install it also. Same message.
Has anyone else had this happen?
Thanks,
Chuck Cruse

Re: Cannot install Dreamweaver Extension?
Try reinstalling the Ext Manager. And be certain you are using the
latest release.

This is a bug in Extension Manager where it doesn't recognize that a product of the appropriate level is installed. Re: Cannot install Dreamweaver Extension?
Or alternatively you can try just the opposite: Close DW and
double-click directly on the mxp file in your WindowsExplorer (or the
mac equivalent).

Thanks man. After I installed the latest version of the Extension Manager, the extension installed fine.
