Re: cannot install--missing ISScript.msi
Same issue-trying to install Contribute 3 on a Windows XP machine with Service
Pack 2. Have tried deleting Drivers from c:Program Files/Common
Files/InstallShield and then reinstalling both ISScript8.msi and
ISScript10.msi. To no avail and am awaiting a reply from customer service as we
are a school district installing 5000 licences of this product and this is
causing a problem.

Re: cannot install--missing ISScript.msi
My brilliant SO was able to troubleshoot and fix this issue, so I thought I
would post the solution that helped me.
The problem was a "Corrupt Security Descriptor file" (as he called it) and the
fix was as follows:
Open command prompt (Start - Run - cmd.exe)
In command prompt enter next command (omit quotes): secedit /configure
/cfg %windir%\repair\secsetup.inf /db secsetup.sdb /verbose
Hope that helps anyone.
