Cannot install Qos, and I have removed DUN and recreated it
Hi All
I have a problem where I could not dial out to my ISP. I
have a 3com US robotics 56k V.90 modem. Now when I had a
look at the network properties for this dial up
connection, I saw that QoS was not installed and I need
that. So I clicked on install, and clicked on service, but
as soon as I do that then ALL the installed items like
TCP/IP etc disappear!. I just cannot add a servce(QoS)
without it clearing everything there? I have already
removed my modem driver and re-installed it from an update
from the Web, but I still get the same thing.
I cannot connect to the web without this QoS, my ISP
requires it.I have even tried removing the DUN account and
re-created it, but still I get the same problem
anybody have any ideas?
TIA
Kevin
