Cannot Update to 7.0.5 and thus unable to install further updates
Sorry to be slow,
but I on several macintosh in our company old adobe acrobat 7.0.1 and 7.0.3 versions. Two 7.0.1 Pro Versions and one 7.0.3 Standard Edition.
So I tried to install the Adobe Pro 7.0.5 and Adobe Standard 7.0.5 Update. Download perfect, unpacking perfect, but installation fails:
The updater tells:
"This version can't be updated" and this "version is out of range" in the Standard Edition, and the Pro Updates replies "You haven't choosed to right application for update" or similar.
Excuse my bad English, but I am from Germany, and do not have often to talk English.
Any advice would be helpfull, because searching this forum no other seems to have the problem...
Sincerely,
Steffen Reichel

Re: Cannot Update to 7.0.5 and thus unable toinstall further updates
perhaps you downloaded the wrong update? Are you updating from Help>Check for updates or did you download the updates from the web?
what are the names of the updater files you are trying to use?

Re: Cannot Update to 7.0.5 and thus unable toinstall further updates
If you do that install the oldest updates first example if you need to update to 7.0.2 before going to to .3 do so then next highest then next highest it it shows dates which ever has oldest date do first.
Adobe does roll previous updates into current updates like Apple does.
