Can't add table row

I am using Contribute 1 and have no problems adding a row to a particular
table, but a customer using Contribute 3 is unable to add a row to the same
table as the buttons are greyed out ... any suggestions

Can you tell us a little more about the file that you are trying to edit? A URL would be cool that way we could look and see what moght be causing this issue for you.

The url is [url]http://backpacklaketaupo.com/accommodation2.asp[/url], the table they were trying to edit was the top one ie. Bellbird Lodge, Club Habitat etc

Hi Kiwi Girl,

I tried editing the page in contribute 3 you had provided in the url, and it
works. I made a copy of the page and uploaded the page into my server. I used
FTP as my protocol. Try using the context menu or the Table menu instead. Is
this problem specific to only this page or to all pages in the site. if it is
for all pages then I think there might be some problem with the template you
are using.

Sorry for not seeing your post earlier.

I too pulled your ASP file down and was able to load it up on my site and was
able to simply put my insertion point in the lower right table cell and press
tab and it would add another row to the table.

So at this point I am thinking it migh be an issue with the role for the
users. Do you see the same thing if the Admin edits the file?

I have the same problem as administrator. I get the following error message:

"You can't add items to repeating regions because the draft's parent template
is missing or not available to users in your role. Please contact the website
administrator." {I am the administrator} "Please contact" {yourself} "for
assistance."

I don't know exactly what that means. There is not a "parent" template, just
the template for the page. And I have rights to that template.

I'm getting that same error:

"You can't add items to repeating regions because the draft's parent template

administrator. Please contact for assistance."

Perhaps I created the repeating region or editable region wrong. I have a
table cell set as repeating and I have the text in the cell set to be editable.
When I try to repeat the region I get that error.

Editing the page in dreamweaver works fine. Editing in Contribute as myself
(administrator) or other users gives me that error.

I figured it out. The template that was used for this document (that I added repeating regions too) was not updated on my server. Once I uploaded the new version, it works fine.
