Default Cant Authorize Device: Could not create EDB

this is all i keep getting when I go to:
    File...Digital Editions...Authorize Devices. on adobe reader 7.0.8

    Mac OS X10.3.9
    500 MHZ
    G3
    Ibook

have installed, re-instaleed and whatever i do when I get to the adobe drm page with the activate button on it, i click it and a few seconds later i get "Could not create EDB database: "Unable to load the specified databse driver dynamic link library."

    Any clue? Anyone?

Default Re: Cant Authorize Device: Could not create

    PK,

This is the Acrobat forum, not the reader forum. But I think you would
still need to give us more to go on. Methinks you are trying to read a
digital book. Alas, could you repost in the Reader forum and give us
more info to go on. Just to give you a head start I'd recommend that
you re-install reader and fix permissions in case something has messed
    with permissions. Thanks.
