Can't connect to my website
I'm using Contribute CS3. After a reinstalling my system software (Mac OS X),
I had to create the connection to my website again. However, when I entered
the FTP information it would not establish a connection. I triple-checked the
log-in info, and it's correct. I was using it before without a problem. But
it will not establish a connection or allow me to upload any files. What can I
do?

Re: Can't connect to my website
I will also add that I used the same log-in information in my FTP program, and had no trouble at all connecting to the server.

Re: Can't connect to my website
Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, it wasn't much help. I am able to ping my
server successfully using Terminal, and as I mentioned previously, I'm also
able to establish an FTP connection using Transmit (my FTP program). So the
problem seems to be with Contribute, or at least how it was configured.
This has happened before, but I don't remember how I resolved it. I'm using a
pretty new computer right now, and my settings didn't get migrated over from my
old computer. I started from scratch. I'm not sure if that matters, but I
thought I'd mention it.

Re: Can't connect to my website
Seems to be a Mac problem now. Sorry, I don't have a Mac and cannot relate very
good to the problems that way. Saw your spinning beachball post to. Search the
forum on that subject, there is a lot to read (maybe even a solution...).
