can't copy images from Safari into AI CS

When I drag an image, or copy and paste it, from the Safari browser into AI CS, the image simply displays a message that reads "QuickTime and a TIFF (Uncompressed) decompressor are needed to see this picture." This works with Safari and Photoshop 7, and with IE 5.2.3 and AI CS. I'm running the current version of Panther with what I'm certain is the current version of QuickTime. Could this be a bug in AI CS, or is there something users can do to make this work as it should? Thanks -- Rick

Rick, i have the same problems. With thelatest version of Panther and
Safari...

Not sure it was working before.... with the previous version of Safari...

No it does not work with Jaguar either. Works withy IE though.

Perhaps it ids one of Safaris security things. Not everything with Safari.

I did some testing....

I cannot drag n drop or copy paste into INDESIGN 2.0, FREEHAND 10,
ILLUSTRATOR 10, CS

BUT I can do it in WORD, INDESIGN CS...

Weird...
