Default Can't create connection to site on Mac

    Hi,

We have two copies of Contribute here - both on a mac. I am trying to create a
connection to a site - but keep getting told by Contribute that 'you already
have a connection to....'. We don't have a connection to that site at all. So
not sure why it thinks we have. Can anyone help?

    Thanks,

    Greg,

Just had this problem myself and managed to fix it.

First, do you have any other sites that you're currently using Contribute to
manage? If that's the case, this may help. It was the source of my problem.

Go to Edit...My Connections. For each of the site's you're managing, select
them, and click "Administer" in the upper right corner (I'm assuming you're the
    Admin of these sites).

Go to the "Web Server" category on the left, and ensure that only valid URLs
appear in the list on the right pane. In my case, Contribute frequently
populates the list with incorrect URLs, including the canonical name of our
server. In our case, it's a shared server, so many of the sites end up with
this name in the list. If more than 1 site tries to claim that name, then
Contribute assumes that you've already got a connection to it, and will give
you your troublesome error message. Clear those extra entries out, and you'll
    be all set.
