Default Can't create custom hybrid CD

I have created a PDF with several attachments, therefore, I created a Catalog to get an index of all this files. I am using Roxio Toast Titanium to create a Custom Hybrid CD (ISO for PC) and a Mac Volume.

According to Roxio the way to create a Hybrid disc, is to add the folder using SELECT ISO (for PC), and for MAC it says you have to create a Temporary partition and then copy the items to burn, but by doing that you break the path of the catalog!

Does anybody how to create a hybrid CD with both a Mac and PC volume with out breaking the index?

Default Re: Can't create custom hybrid CD

Hi, I am using MacOs 10.4.7 and Roxio 6.1.1. For the PC side I am using Joliet, to allow long names. So the PC side is just perfect, but I am getting trouble with the mac side, that part just doesn't work. My PDF opens as usual but I have several PNG's linked to it, and when I click on a button, it says that it can't find "whatever.png".

I didn't knew Roxio had a forum, so I will keep an eye on it. Thanks for tip.

Most CD's actually come formated for windows, but if you open a blank CD it will ask you whether you wish to format for Macintosh. If you do this your history. Also whatever you do, do not use CD-RW's of any type.

If you use finder, create a burn folder from the desktop. Don't go through Disk Utility. Place files in the folder making sure the files are less than the size of the CD. then when you click on the burn button insert the cd at that point when asked to do so. Joliet is a moving target of which MS has control, so the Mac System may or may not have the latest version of joliet installed. IF they are different there will be problems. Make sure you title the CD the exact same as the burn folder. Also make sure all related folder are copied to the burn folder.

ISO 9660 is supposed to be the "Universal" system for Mac/PC transfer.

I don't have any idea about toast.

I know if I create a CD as above a PC can read it. I tried using CD-RW's, and they were unreadable on any PC.
