Default Can't create pdf printer after trashing the one automatically installed

Hello, I have been trying to create a new adobe pdf printer in the print center on OSX 10.2.8. Once I add the printer as an IP printer and pick a false location I get a warning about invalid location. I ignore this and try and use the printer to make pdf files. Needless to say the printer stops as soon as it starts printing. I get an error 0 "can't locate the printer".
How does one make a new Adobe PDF printer if the oiginal one is trashed? TIA. Joe.

Are you running Acrobat 6.0? If so then update to Acrobat 6.01 through
the Adobe web-site .. otherwise visit the FAQs at the top of the
