I've worked with Dreamweaver, php and mysql on my desktop computer for some
years, but when I installed it on my laptop and - at the same time - tried
Interakts MXKollektion I got problems. On the laptop I wasn't able to get a
confirmation when I tried to define the testing server on localhost (after
choosing php as the document type).

I've done quite a bit of conversationtrying to

It ended up with them recommending me to try at Macromedia, as it is a problem
with my Dreamweaver/Studio MX2004 installation.

My problem:
I work on a file (index.php), define a site, define a testing server locally
(the path's are correct). Dreamweaver won't accept it as a Testing server. But
when I open the page (the adress specified in the URL prefix in the testing
server dialog) in Firefox, the page shows up without problem. (If you want to
see screenshots of the problem, look at the link above)

I've removed all extensions, reinstalled Studio MX2004 (twice) - no extensions
- but that doesn't help. I copied a site working on my desktop, but that
didn't work on my laptop.

When I search in the registry (after deinstalling studio MX) I get some hits
on Macromedia. Could there be something left that is causing my problems?? How
do I get rid of them?

Could somebody here help me?? I'm in desperate need to get my laptop working
with dynamic pages. It's impossible without being able to define a testing
server.

Or is there some other problem I don't see?
