can't download flash

When I try to install the flash player the page hangs on two items remaning. Any suggestions. thanks.

I'm loading up a new PC and can't download Flash player - whenever I start a
download this site it begins at 6.3kb and then stops after a short time. I've
tested my d/l speeds and they're a hundred times that, and work fine everywhere
else, but everything at adobe.com is slow - even loading this page took ages.
I've downloaded Flash many times before and had no problems (admittedly that
was before Adobe took over). From what I've seen on this forum, they've taken a
simple thing and made it a nightmare. I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.2 on XP - am I
doing something wrong? All I'm really doing is clicking on a button that says
"download now" - how hard can that be?

I'm having the same problem. Using Firefox, I can't download Flash Player. I've tried on different days, different times. I have a cable connection. It will get to 1% or 2% and quit.

I have the same problem and have done for weeks now. I usually get around it
by installing a resumable download manager. Resuming about 50 times usually
does the job.

Can't help but think if Adobe hadn't bought out Macromedia we wouldn't be in
this position.
