Can't find commenting toolbar in Acrobat 7 pro
Please help. Using Acrobat 7 pro for first time and want to add a note to a pdf. How do you activate the commenting toolbar? Help says you can use commenting tools outside of the online review process (which I don't want to do) by adding the tools to the tool bar – but where are they!!!
Thanks

Re: Can't find commenting toolbar in Acrobat 7 pro
The "Comment & Markup" button is one of the default items in the Acrobat toolbar. Short of that, you should see a "Comments" menu. Click on that and select "Show Commenting Toolbar" and/or "Show Drawing Markups Toolbar" from the menu.

Re: Can't find commenting toolbar in Acrobat 7 pro
Thanks for response. With my installation of Acrobat 7 there is no Comments & Markup button, no comments menu and comments is not listed in the preferences.
I have checked another installation of Acrobat and they are there like you say.
I must have a faulty installation – I'll try re-installing. Not sure what is going on here? If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
Thanks

Re: Can't find commenting toolbar in Acrobat 7 pro
Different machine.
I do recall now that one was installed the standard way and the other was installed via drag the folder from the installation window to hard drive (it did say you could do this). I think one method has left out commenting and drawing capability – a bit odd. I will re-install and see if this fixes things.
Thanks

Re: Can't find commenting toolbar in Acrobat 7 pro
I know of no other way to install on the Mac. Dragging the application from the CD to Applications folder is the only way. The application actually installs on 1st launch.
