    Default Can't FTP

I'm using Dreamweaver MX on Mac OS X on an 866 G4. I cannot connect to any servers via FTP in Dreamweaver. I downloaded Fetch and was able to access my site via FTP. If Fetch can do it, Dreamweaver should be able to, but I can't figure out what settings are wrong. Anyone have any tips or things I could try out?

Its more often than not because you have the 'passive ftp' check box, in
the DW ftp settings for the site, left unchecked.

I tried that and it also doesn't work. Do I need to have the Passive FTP box in the network proxie window checked as well? What are other possible causes of this?

Yes, you need to have them both checked. Do you receive any error message?

I've tried both now. After I click Connect. It says, "host found, connecting..." then after about 2 minutes of this message it gives me this: An FTP error occured - cannot make connection to host. I've tried almost everything that I know how to do now and can't get it to work.
