Can't hide masks in pdfs
My Illustrator 10 masks are showing up when I save as a pdf--the whole pasteboard appears, instead of just what's on the document area. Are my settings/prefs in Acrobat or Illustrator wrong? thanks--anupa.

I'm assuming syo mean the blank area that's masked off is showing up, right?
Check out this thread - it is about Saving for Web, but applies to saving as PDF, too.
