Can't install Acrobat 5.0.5, Pagemaker 7.0 or Photoshop 7.0
I have a new computer with XP home and cannot load 3 of the 4 programs in my Adobe publishing pack---only Illustrator 10 will load. I did have them loaded, then had to reload Windows to fix a modem problem. Now the programs won't install. I have tried several methods for installing, none works. The initial autoplay window opens, but when I click "install," the CD spins then stops and the autoplay window does not advance to the install screens. I have tried installing from Start-Run, Add/Remove new software, and even copied the disc to my desktop and tried to install from there. The programs will load just fine on my old computer with 2000, so the discs are fine. Please help me!

Do you use Norton Anti-virus? If so, make sure it is completely OFF.
