Can't Install Firework 3 in windows XP..

Frankie,

I don't believe FW3 will run on XP since XP came out *after* FW3, which was
designed to run on W95, W98, and ME. Could be wrong but I don't think so.

I just installed FW3 on XP home.

It works.

Fireworks 3 wasn't really tested to work with Windows XP. Although some
users have reported that they successfully installed FW3 on a XP machine, it
won't guarantee that it will work for others.

My suggestion is for you to uninstall Fireworks 3 and reinstall it in
Safe-Mode.

While restarting the computer hold on the F8 key until the boot-up menu
shows up. Choose Safe-Mode.

NOTE: your CD drive will not work in Safe-Mode, be sure to copy the
installer on your computer.

Actually now looking to replace old PC for Windows 7 - so will prob have to upgrade my Fireworks...!!
