can't open illustration

I had problems with my computer and had to re-install adobe CS. Now when I try and open eps's I get the message, "can't open illsutration"

What could be the reasons for this?

Is this just one file, or all .ai/.eps files?

First thing to try is to trash your Preference file - See the FAQ at the top
