Can't Print Illustration error in CS

Has anyone else seen this? Certain files we open can't be printed from within CS. Other files we open print just fine. It happens on any machine we open the files on. Works fine in older versions. VERY odd.

cannot print *ANY* illustrations from Illustrator CS. My printers are EPSON (c8500, c8600, and other few epson inkjets)

hey scott, try this:

check to see how many spot colors you have in your pallete. If you have more than 28, that might be the problem.

also try exporting as tiff (make certain 'anti-aliasing' is NOT checked or youll be there all day) that is usually a good way to print things that will otherwise refuse to print.
