Can't print pdf from Intel Mini with Acrobat 6.0.4

The printer appears on the printer list but when I actually go to print it stops and can't be restarted. and so here I am..... wondering if I have to wait until some future release of Acrobat or if there is some workaround for this. Of course I can use the Save as PDF feature in the Mac OS X but still.... I would like to use it from Adobe.

Future release of Acrobat? Current version in use is 7.0.8 and version 8.0 has been released.

But in any event Try e following:

Open Printer Setup Utility. (For x.2.8 it was called something else, but I haven't used X.2.8 in so long I've forgotten what it was called.)

Locate your printer as setup.

there should be some items in the print que. If there is these items are corrrupt. simply delete them Then click the button to switch stop sign to a go button.

Now Try to Print. If sucessful it should print.

If still have a problem, use Find File and type "Cache" then when window finishes finding all "cache files" click on sort by date.

look for any files that were created at the point you tried to print document after the procedure above. throw in trash and empty.

Another problem, is that when you delete a printer, and add it back, it doesn't necessarily get added back correctly (especially the Adobe PDF Driver. You need to go to adobe's support part of there website and look for information on how to correct;lly add back the Print driver to the Printer Utility.

You can create a new user account and try to print a document, if everything works fine. You may need to remove and install Acrobat over again to correct.

Also, Try repairing permissions maybe there is a problem with permissions.

Acrobat 8 Professional for the Mac is a Universal Binary. Problems that existed using Rosetta with Acrobat 6 or 7 should be gone. But I don't have an Intel computer to test. Yet.
