Can't print using Acrobat PDF 7.0 printer

I have lost my ability to make a pdf by printing to the Acrobat PDF 7.0 printer. I have reinstalled the Acrobat printer. I have repaired all permissions (through Disk Utility and through Printer Repair). I am using Acrobat Pro 7.01 and OS 10.3.9

In Acrobat 7, choose Help > Detect and Repair.

I am having the same problem. Using the same Acrobat Pro and OS.

I just tried Steve's suggestion - to no avail. - after it claimed to have made some repairs.

This problem started when I went to print two days ago and a pop-up window said that Acrobat needed some repairs and I chose to do them.

There seems to be some issues going on here that are close to voodoo. I used the instructions to Repair under Help and got the printer back, but the PDF options didn't appear -- until I added a custom print job options! I read somewhere on this forum that if you have Acrobat 6 installed (or previously installed, don’t know which), both folders with the .joboptions in them have to be the same with all files named the same. Go figure.
