Can't replace one color with another
I have two yellows, one I want to delete. I ask FH to replace Yellow 1 with
Yellow 2, fills & tints included, through "find", "graphics", "fills &
tints". Then I go to delete Yellow 2 and it says it's still in use! I can't
get rid of this yellow! How can I delete it?

Re: Can't replace one color with another
Try using 'replace color' in the menu of the swatches panel (upper right
corner) to replace your unwanted yellow with the one you want to keep.

with 'replace color' in the swatches menu. You're safer using Find & Replace
Graphics until the FHMX updater is released.

Re: Can't replace one color with another
If you use the 'Select' tab in 'Find and Replace', does it find any
instances of the color. 'Select' will find some things that 'Find and
Replace' wont, such as colorized tiffs.
If that doesn't work, you can send me a copy. Just remove
'JAIL.THE.SPAMMERS.' from my address.

Sometimes there's an invisible character at the the end of text blocks that
has a color tag. I forget the exact trick, but if you put your cursor at the
end of the block, delete and then retype the last character it sometimes
helps.
Sometimes the only remedy is to select everything and copy into a new
document, leaving color corruption behind.

Sure. Fire it over. It's a little slow today.

Put the cursor at the end of the text block, hit the right arrow key until
the cursor won't go any further, press 'Return' and then 'Delete'. This
worked in previous versions of FH. I don't know if still works in FHMX.

Re: Can't replace one color with another
It worked! It worked! It worked!
The last trick was what did it. Can someone make that a tech note?
Thank you all so much...
