'Can't save the illustration'

This issue has already been posted but seems to not be getting a response. I am using OSX10.2.8 with AI10.0.3. We are getting the mentioned error when saving the file. There is mention that there could be a conflict with Stuffit's Spacesaver. The problem is, I do not have this loaded on my machine. There has to be some other explanation,

Are you getting it on all your machines and files?

Not all files and the files that can't be saved are consistent on other machines. (All our machines are setup identical.)

Do you have such a file that had previously been saved I wonder if it would open and save on my computer. Trouble shooting is just a hobby for me so I am not affiliated with any company in anyway.
