Capital letter to small letter in Flash MX

Hi there

I am doing a search tool in Flash MX and using a .xml as the archive
containing the text

At the moment I am using "indexof" as the tool to find a word in the .xml (As
a string) and I can find coincidences using capital letters and small letters.
For example

"Hello my name is Manuel" is on the .xm

When i search for the work "Hello" i find a coincidence, but If i try to
search for the word "hello" I can?t find anything

I was wondering if is posible to transform all the string to small letter. Tx

mystring.toLowerCase();
