Carbon with gcc 3.2 on Mac OS X 10.1 doesn't understand headers - Mac Programming

Hi I'm kinda new to Carbon I've built gcc 3.2 on Mac OS X 10.1 However gcc 3.2 doesn't seem to understand the Mac OS X framework header styles like <Carbon/Carbon.h> like gcc 2.95, which comes with the developer tools, does. Does anybody know if its possible to make any changes in my gcc 3.2 (such as some change in the specs file) to get it to understand these header styles? Thanks in advance Rohinton Daruwala...

Default Carbon with gcc 3.2 on Mac OS X 10.1 doesn't understand headers

    Hi
    I'm kinda new to Carbon
    I've built gcc 3.2 on Mac OS X 10.1
However gcc 3.2 doesn't seem to understand the Mac OS X framework
header styles like <Carbon/Carbon.h> like gcc 2.95, which comes with
    the developer tools, does.

Does anybody know if its possible to make any changes in my gcc 3.2
(such as some change in the specs file) to get it to understand these
    header styles?

    Thanks in advance

    Why?

You didn't apply Apple's patches to gcc.

You should get the gcc sources from Apple and build those. They include the
relevant patches. They are in Darwin.

    Hi
I downloaded the August 2003 gcc updater source of gcc and the June
2003 Developer Tools source of gcc but both of these give build errors
when I try to compile them.
    I'm building on Mac OS X 10.1
Has anybody managed to build gcc 3.3 on Mac OS 10.1?

I doubt anyone has bothered to try. Why not just use 10.3, it comes
    with gcc 3.3.
