Hi,

Is it possible to realize a CD-ROM products catalog, with complex queries
which use multiple search criteria and a shopping cart, using only Director MX
(Lingo)?

Is it necessary to use Xtras or other programs?

A real database xtra like V-12 may be best for "complex queries" you can
do some reasonable database programming with lingo and nested list
variables as long as the database is not huge, one can save and retrieve
a text snapshot of a list in a text member or file.

There's a new V12 light that's a bit less expensive $199.

You will hve to look into the demo options, most xtras wirk in authoring
only until licenced.
