Centering layers - Macromedia Fireworks

I have a layer, say 800x600px and I'd it to be in the centre of the page so it'll look nice in any screen resolution. In this layer, I'd like to embed other layers with buttons, and pop-up menus, and text, etc., and their position should be relative to that of the main 800x600 layer. Is that possible, and if so, how's it done ? Never really used layers before, I've always used tables, so I'm a bit new at this. Thanks, Rob...

    You need a wrapper. Here is the CSS:

    body {
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
    text-align: center;
    background-color: white;
    }

    #wrapper {
    position: relative;
    width: 750px;
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

    #div1 {
    position: absolute;
    width: 120px;
    top: 0;
    left: 0;
    text-align: left;
    background-color: red;
    }
    #div2 {
    position: absolute;
    width: 630px;
    top: 0;
    left: 120px;
    text-align: left;
    background-color: blue;
    }

    markup:

    <body>

    <div id="wrapper">

    <div id="div1">
    The First Div is here.
    </div>

    <div id="div2">
    The Second Div is here.
    </div>

    </div>

    </body>
