    Default Certificate is Proving Difficult - Help, Please!

    I am using the Certificate template from InDesign... But, it's on 11.5 inch long paper -when I tried to size to 11 inch paper, suddenly there is a 'gap' in the Fancy Border (this won't due for a Certificate) - And, nothing I do seems to make it better... (sob) Can someone Help me? Please!
    (if there is a way, I can upload the Certificate & what happens...)

    I don't know how this template was created, so I'm just guessing, but can you ctrl-click and drag half an inch in the long dimension to make it fill the space you want? Sounds like you're reducing it proportionally, when you want to change just one dimension . . .

    Hi AG - things for something to try (I don't know how it was created either (part of the problem) - Originally I did try to 'drag' to fill the 'gap' (didn't think of control) and the whole border would disappear or the gap would fill with the border -but, upside down. Even tried just resizing the width... that didn't work either.

    If the control-n-drag doesn't work, I have to try to contact Adobe (this
    Certificate is one that came with InDesign, hopefully someone there can tell me how to remedy... (or does Adobe Staff frequent here?)

    Anyway, Thanks AG ! Appreciate the Control to Try! Tom

    Shelia, You're a Genius ;-) That WORKED! (don't know how I missed that one (but, I'd still love to know why the Control-Drag didn't).

    Again, Thanks Shelia - Sure Appreciate the push in the Right direction

    While I got the Certificate to work, I would like to edit the basic template both for Color and Size -would you gurus take a look?

    IN
    Illustrator (1st):

    Certificate 1.ait

    IN
    InDesign(3rd):

    CERT3-IS-NKT-NON.indt

    Seem to have orginated in Illustrator -then in Indesign, it is on 11.5 inch paper -- when sizing to 11 inch, the border developes a 'gap' which I have been unable to pull the ends together with or without modifiers -- one said expand object -that is next on list... Unless anyone had something else to correct? Thanks
