CF Administrator Issue
I am setting up a test environment to practice my upgrade from CF 5 to MX7. I
have set this up by rebuilding another machine with everything exactly like my
production environment. I basically took a disk out of my raid and let it
build on this test machine. Before I brought it up on the network, I renamed
the machine and put it back on the domain. I also made a new DNS entry for
this machine and adjusted the settings in IIS. The issue I have is when I try
to go to the administrator login page using the new domain name, it comes up
fine. When I try and log in by putting my password in, it appears as though it
submits but then it takes me back to /CFIDE/Administrator/homelink.cfm and does
not give me any indication of a failed login. I know I am using the correct
password. What am I missing?

Re: CF Administrator Issue
I also observed some more strange behavior. If I enter in the correct
password, I can see the screen break into frameset and there appears to be a
left frame that is doing some processing and then it busts back out into the
login screen view. Also, the url that appears in the address bar when it
finally comes to a stop seems to be more than just "homelink.cfm" as I
indicated in my first message. I've seen it end up with tabs.cfm,
navserver.cfm and homelink.cfm. But no matter what is in the URL, it is still
showing the login page.

busts back out into the login screen view. Also, the url that appears in the
address bar when it finally comes to a stop seems to vary between homelink.cfm,
tabs.cfm and navserver.cfm. If I am correct those are files that are usually
rendered after a successful login. But no matter what is in the URL, it is
still kicks back to showing the login page. I know I am using the correct
password. What am I missing? Could it be that because I cloned the machine,
there is a registry entry somewhere holding on to the old machine's info? If
so, what do i adjust.
