CF ecommerce host ?
I am going to be building an Ecommerce site and I was hoping some of you can
suggest a good CF host that has a cart that I can customize very easily. I am
not sure if I should build my own cart or use one that is available on a host.
I would really appreciate some suggestions from some of you who have experience
with shopping carts. Thanks a lot!!

You are then tied to that host and if you are unhappy with them, have to
deal with issues regarding the software and your data. Oftentimes you cannot
get access to either and have to start from scratch if you want to move to a
new host. Why tie yourself down like that? It's far better, and usually
cheaper, to just pick a good software package and then find an appropriate
host (basically any decent CF host). Then if you every want to switch hosts,
the software can go with you. The only issue is that you then have to deal
with the installation and setup yourself, but it's well worth it in the long
run.
If you do go with a hosted solution, get clear information upfront about who
owns the license and whether you will be able to get a copy of your database
on request.
