CF MX 7 Linux Install Problems - Coldfusion - Getting Started

I've purchased the ColdFusion MX 7 Standard package and I tried installing it on my Fedora Core 4 Linux machine. the installation resources are being extracted but once it starts to launch the installer i get an error that says "Invocation of this Java Application has caused an InvocationTargetException. This application will now exit. (LAX)" it then says: "Stack Trace: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: /tmp/install.dir.14707/Linux/resource/resource/jre/lib/i386/libawt.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" Does anyone know what this means and what I can do to fix this problem?...

Default Re: CF MX 7 Linux Install Problems

There is an easy way to solve this problem. All you gotta do is install JAVA
and point the java libs to its location. Let's go about solving this problem by
chopping it into parts:

1) Go to http://www.fedorafaq.org/#java and follow the steps there to get JAVA
installed in your machine. (further knowledge is needed to install the packages)

2) Go to /etc/ld.so.conf.d and create a file called java.conf and put in this
file the path for your java lib files (find the java lib files by searching)
