CF5 and Latest MS Patches
:disgust;All was running fine until I applied latest microsoft patches to
w2ksp4 server, running cold fusion 5x
service does not start.
Could not start the Cold Fusion Application Server on Local Computer.
Error 1053 the service did not respond to the start or control request in a
timely fashion
--Executive, Graphing & RDS started fine

this issue was caused by the APC power chute java runtime issie APCC ID 7202

us&p_faqid=7202&p_olh=1
shut down server
restart server in safe mode
disable apc power chute
remove apc powerchute
restart in normal mode
