CFM and Flash movies
I have seen messages on this forum that have been close to what I would like to
ask, but need to ask specifically about creating a Flash movie and having it
call cfm code or accessing a database for information retrieval.
The office/location hosting our database apps uses ColdFusion Server 5 and we
have designed numerous cfm apps using this server. We would like to create a
Flash movie (using Flash MX) to read various databases and display this data in
the flash movie based on user selections. I'm responsible for the cfm portion
for the data management (entry, edit, reporting) and we have an employee who
has been using Flash for about 3 years. We both feel it can be done but are a
bit stumped.
Is this possible with the versions of CF Server and Flash we are having to use
and any tips would be great.
Any information would be very much appreciated.

Re: CFM and Flash movies
I just found out the location hosting our database apps is upgrading to
ColdFusion MX6.1, so I'm guessing integrating cfm code in a Flash MX file
should be easier, but would still be happy to hear any tips/tricks on how to
make it happen.
Thanks in advance.
