    Default CFMail again

    Man this Mail tag has been giving me big kahoonas lately

    Can anyone see why this doesn't work??

    here's what I have

    <cfcase value="text">

    <cfquery name="rsCreateMailList" datasource="My_DSN">
    SELECT * FROM tbl_maillist WHERE active = TRUE
    </cfquery>
    <!--- <cfdump var="#rsCreateMailList#"> --->
    <cfmail query="rsCreateMailList"
    to="#email#"
    replyto="info@MyServer.com"
    failto="info@MyServer.com"
    from="info@MyServer.com"
    subject="#txtSubject#"
    server="mail.MyServer.com"
    timeout="10"
    groupcasesensitive="no">
    <cfmailparam name = "Importance" value = "High" >
    <cfmailpart type="text">
    #txtHeader#

    Hello #rsCreateMailList.firstname#

    #txtMessage#

    #txtFooter#

    </cfmailpart>
    </cfmail>
    Thank you, Your Newsletter has been successfully sent to all in your list.
    </cfcase>

    It runs fine as long as I don't add the quiry attribute. I need the tag to
    loop through all emails in the database so as I understand it the mail
    attribute would need to be defined prior to the "TO" attribute.

    Here's the error.

    Attribute validation error for tag CFMAIL.
    # The tag has an invalid attribute combination:
    failto,from,groupcasesensitive,query,replyto,serve r,subject,timeout,to.
    Possible combinations are:Required attributes: 'from,subject,to'. Optional

    'bcc,cc,charset,debug,failto,groupcasesensitive,ma ilerid,maxrows,mimeattach,password,port,replyto,se rver,spoolenable,startrow,timeout,type,username,wr aptext'.

    The error occurred in
    C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\datapacks\wwwroot\Administratio n\Maillist\CreateMailingList.cfm:
    line 20

    18 : </cfquery>

    20 : <cfmail query="rsCreateMailList"
    21 : to="#email#"
    22 : replyto="info@datapacks.com"

    Am I missing something here???

    TY

    To use groupcasesensitive you must have group to use it with a query. Just take it out.

    :-)

    That kinda ticks me off. I've been frigg'n with this thing for a few hours
    now and the issue was as simple as that.

    Thank you very much

    Well, I thought it was solved. Works fine locally but I get that same error
    on the plublic server. It's like I didn't even change anything.
