I have a strange problem that seems to affect all version 6.1MX, 7 (stand alone
and J2EE even Weblogic).

I have a directory that has over 8192 subdirectories in it.

My CF application will not run, CF hangs completely if the directory is in my
application root.

If I start up CF without the directory, then put in a symlink to it, then I
can access it and everything is fine.

If I start up CF with the directory in my app root, then everything bombs.

If I put the symlink in after startup, everything is fine until some "event"
happens, and CF hangs at some later time.

Does anyone know if cfdirectory or cffile / cfdirectory have a limitation of
8192 directories? This just started happening and we think it is a bug / limit
in CFMX.

I have verified with:

CFMX 6.1
CF 7/7.0.1 stand alone, Jrun, and J2EE / Weblogic
