CFMX7 and CFMX services are both running
Hi,
We just upgraded to CFMX7 and have been having some sporadic issues (primarily
with Verity and Web Services). While in the Services of the machine, I noticed
that both CFMX7 and CFMX are both running simoltaneously.
I thought that when we upgraded that CFMX would be uninstalled? Is this not
correct? Could this be causing our problems and what should I do to fix this?

No, CFMX7 will not uninstall and/or deactivate CFMX6.x but you can do this yourself at any point.
Can't say if it's the source of your WS and/or Verity problems.

There are no advantages but if you uninstall cf6 after you installed cf7 be
carefull.
We done it and came to the conclusion some needed files are also uninstalled.
We took the rigorous approach and started with a clean installation after that
because it's not worth the time to find out what was missing.
