CFOBJECT reload - Coldfusion - Advanced Techniques

I am trying to use a java class file by using the CFOBJECT tag. I know that it gets cached when it is called. When you change some of the java code, recompile the class file, none of the changes are shown. Searching through the docs I found the following the instruction to add to the jrun-web.xml file (below) I did all this and still the class file is cached. Is there something I am missing, as the docs below where for CFMX 5 / 6 (I guess) and I am using CF 7. Any help will be greatly appreciated. ...

    Default CFOBJECT reload

I am trying to use a java class file by using the CFOBJECT tag. I know that it
gets cached when it is called. When you change some of the java code, recompile
the class file, none of the changes are shown. Searching through the docs I
found the following the instruction to add to the jrun-web.xml file (below) I
did all this and still the class file is cached.

Is there something I am missing, as the docs below where for CFMX 5 / 6 (I
guess) and I am using CF 7. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    cut ---------------
To reload classes by changing the file
[cfmx_home]\wwwroot\WEB-INF\jrun-web.xml, adding the following line within the
    existing <jrun-web-app> element:

    <reload>TRUE</reload>
    Restart the server.
CFMX will now reload classes from [cfmx_home]\wwwroot\WEB-INF\classes as well
as classes in jar/zip archives in [cfmx_home]\wwwroot\WEB-INF\lib. Note: The
[cfmx_home]\wwwroot\WEB-INF\classes directory must contain class files only,
not class archives. Java class archives belong under the
    [cfmx_home]\wwwroot\WEB-INF\lib directory

I also cannot get this to work. I can overwrite the files but not delete them,
so I'm assuming they are opened by CF with FILE_SHARE_READ and FILE_SHARE_WRITE
access. The timestamps are definately updated though so I don't know what
gives. I'm running with the latest updater so maybe that broke it?

Good to hear that I am not the only person that this is happening to. I have
search and still have not found an answer. I have posted as a bug on the
Macromedia site, but have not heard anything from them. I have not resorted to
restarting the CF server each time I make a change to my Java code. If you find
anything further please let me know.
