Re: cfperfmon_mx.dll Perfmon error
It's a benign message. See Microsoft article
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;249138.
Per the article you'll want to edit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Perflib with
0x01 - Do not test for data buffer alignment errors. Suppresses 1016 event.
Make sure you back up the registry key before editing.

Ted,
Can you give the Microsoft KB article number to cross reference with our LAN service team.
Thanks

Re: cfperfmon_mx.dll Perfmon error
Ted,
One more thing, we are using Windows 2003 servers.
Thanks

Re: cfperfmon_mx.dll Perfmon error
Sorry about that. The following is the link to the article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;249138
I somehow got the period at the end of the link to be part of the url and
that's why it didn't work. Even though the article is for Win 2K and XP it
should work for Windows 2003 as well.
