CFStoredProc Returns 1 Character of a longer string
Hi,
I am using this code:
<cfstoredproc datasource="x" procedure="rUserRoles">
<cfprocparam type = "IN" CFSQLType="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" value =
"#session.User#" dbVarName = "@UID">
<cfprocparam type = "OUT" CFSQLType="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" dbVarName = "@Role"
variable="sMasterRole">
<cfprocparam type = "OUT" cfsqltype="cf_sql_integer" dbVarName =
"@PersonID" variable="PersonID">
<cfprocparam type = "OUT" cfsqltype="CF_SQL_VARCHAR" dbVarName = "@OPName"
variable= "fName">
</cfstoredproc>
---------------------------
The output variable from fName is only ever one character. For example, if the
name is 'Joe', the output is J. Querying SQL does return the full name, so I
suspect the problem is with CF....
Does anyone know why this might be and how to solve it?
