    Default cftree with applet

    All,

I am using CFTREE to build a tree using the java applet option. If I
understand correctly, this will require a JRE to be loaded on the
    client.

The problem is this. If there is no JRE installed on the client - I
assume that the tree will not be constructed or displayed properly.

Is there a mechanism by which one can detect the presence of a JRE on
the client? On the basis of this, decide whether to output the CFTREE
or a "straight" HTML equivalent of the tree that has been constructed?

    Thanks for your help.
