Default CGI Var for Server IP

We have 2 servers on round robin, and I need to know the the IP address of a
given server. cgi.Server_Name may return the domain name which would be the
same on the two servers, so thats no good.

I've read in old CF doc that cgi.Local_Address would retrurn the IP, but for
some reason it is NULL in CF7 (at least in my testing). I have found
cgi.HTTP_HOST is returning the IP, but do not see any documentation on this
variable, and as such am afraid to use it.

    Anyone have a suggestion? TIA!

Default Re: CGI Var for Server IP

HTTP_HOST contains the Hostname specified by the client in its Host HTTP
header, so that won't work. Not sure what the best way to get it would be.
You might just stick it in a file and read it into the server scope on startup.
