change url to https
Hi David,
I am truly green! I built my site in Pub 2003 and it was an easy enough
build but a bear to publish to the web. None of my fonts come up as entered
(very important as it is a wedding invitation website). But more
importantly, I cannot figure out how to assign my secure html to my order
pages. I have the url and tried to save just those pages with no luck, is
there a way to change it? I know nothing about code, but can be instructed.
By the way, my webhost is Microsoft and they can't/won't help. Very
disappointing IT dept. I had to switch from Yahoo! because of lack of
Publisher support, but their IT was GREAT. I have scoured everything and
can come up with nothing. If you have a font tip, that would be great, too.
I'm counting on your MVP status!!

Re: change url to https
There are only about 5 standard web fonts, if you want to use any other font
it should be built as a graphic instead.
As for shttp, does your hosting account support it? If they do provide you a
secure space make sure you get the URL to upload to it. The URL to upload to
your site and the URL to upload to a secure space would be two different
things. The host provides you this upload URL info.
It's simply a matter of uploading to the appropriate URL.

Re: change url to https
Well good. This had nothing to do with an issue with Publisher btw, it's
pretty odd that bCentral couldn't explain this to you imo.
good luck.

Hi,
I GOT IT!!! When you said the link pointed wrong, that's when it clicked.
I thought I had to save the page with that URL, I didn't realize that I had
to redirect to the existing SSL page. The "link" word set me up. Thanks for
your patience. You are providing a great service to the little people just
trying to make a couple bucks!! Thanks again, I'm keeping the newsgroups to
learn as much as possible!!
Take care,
Lisa Armand
