changed ftp address and now Contribute crashes

My client has used Contribute successfully for quite a while. However
we moved her website to a new server and she changed the ftp address in
the connection, but now she starts to edit a page, Contribute crashes
and it comes up with the application not responding message.

I told her to delete the connection and create a new one and she says
that the same thing is still happening.

However I'm able to connect and edit the site with Contribute without
any problems, so am a bit stumped.

She only started having this issue when she changed the ftp address.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what she could try?

Further to my message - I'm now having the same problem as my client.
I've run the ftpserverchecker and get a successful set of tests.

using CS3.11 on Windows XP.
