Changing list with drop down

Hi,

I got no response on this earlier, so I try again:

I'm trying to create a page with a dynamically generated list (table)
using the Repeat Region feature. There is a drop down on the page with a
number of dynamically generated items.

When the user triggers an onChange event in the dropdown (selects an
item) the list should reflect this change by issuing a new SELECT based
om the WHERE value selected in the drowp down.

Can someone please tell me how to do this, or - better yet - tell me
where to find an article or howto dealing with this problem?

in the onChange handler do a recursive call passing, as a URL parameter,
the new criteria selected

at the beginning of the page, retrieve the URL parameter and use it in
the SELECT statement

1. if you specify your server model/language/OS you'll receive better
answers
2. don't use list as a synonymous of table, as people could get confused
with the form element
