Changing Text Colour
Im new to Director 7 and I have just created some text and is has appeared in black but i wanted to change it to a different colour but there doesnt seem to be a function for it can anyone help?

For manual adjustment use the popup color palete in the font inspector,
or the tool panel (command-7)
THere is a lingo command to set the color of text, I think
set the fontcolor of line 2 of member "myText" = 10
sets to palette entry 10
I am guessing the code and am not sure it all existed back in director 7.

Make sure your Tool Palette is open (Ctrl+7). Select the text on the
stage then go over to your tool palette and click on the foreground
colour swatch. Choose the colour you want from in there.
(And if you want your text to have a transparent background select
your text box and change the drop down box in the Score that says
'Copy' to 'Background Transparent')
