Characters with accents and proxies
In a site we are developing we use a Flash movie. Variables are passed on to
the Flash movie in the following way:
value="flash/ntrglobal_home.swf?languagename=<%=sLang%>
When the page is viewed in Internet Explorer on a computer that uses a Proxy
the Flash movie does?t display (at the bottom in the browser it says "1 item
remaining" and never finishes...) the Flash movie when the text that is passed
on to the flash movie contains certain accents (this varies...).
Anybody has this problem too? Any suggestions?
An example is [url]www.ntr.es[/url] and it is concerning the bottom flash movie with
language selected: Catala.
