Check Boxes - Adobe Acrobat Windows

Fmpro 5.5 Windows XP pro I have a number field set up as a checkboxes, numbered from 11 to 18. I had a script that used to check all the boxes when I clicked on the button. set field("checkboxes","11 & "¶" & 12 & "¶" & 13 & "¶" & 14 & "¶" & 15 & "¶" & 16 & "¶" & 17 & "¶" & 18) That was with version 4.1 of Fmpro Now , for some reason ,that script doesn't work anymore... nothing happens when the button is clicked. Could it be because version 5.5 doesn't work like that ???
What would be the solution ???

I haven't tested it, and I'm not sure it'd make a difference, but you
    can try:

    "11¶12¶13¶14¶15¶16¶17¶18"

Finally got a chance to check this and it works in FMP6 (as does Howard's
solution). Are you sure it's not something else in the script that is
causing the button to fail? Or the definition of the button itself (is it
still calling the script you think it is calling)?

It should all work well if you change it from a number field to a text
field. Number fields won't recognize the return characters.

The thing is, that it was working with version 4.1 of Fm....

I just tried something else. I created a NEW record and the button worked
    once.
BUT, If I uncheck the boxes and try to use the button again, it doesn't work
    the second time.
I tried with old records and it and it never works anymore....

    Real strange .....

    Thanks

Not sure if this would help but you haven't closed your formula properly.
If it opens ...,"11 it should close ...18") , not 18)

    Default Check Boxes

Using Acrobat, I create a check box and duplicate it to all pages. I can scroll through the pages and see the check boxes. But when I used Reader to view the pages and fill in data, the check boxes are checked on page one only but not on the subsequent pages. Any suggestions??
    Thanks

That's normal for check boxes that have the same name that were created with Acrobat 5.0. I suspect that what you want is to have each like-named check box to reflect the same state (checked or unchecked) as any other. To get that behavior with Acrobat 5, you have to install the 5.05 update and then install the Accessibility and Forms patch, and then recreate the fields (or run the Batch Sequence that comes with the patch).
